My Dear Aarshabh,
I know I have been very laid back as far as this blog is concerned, but there is no one but you and me to blame. You because you are just so demanding for mummy's time according to you mummy must be omnipresent.
Mummy tries very hard to put superwoman to shame when she flies about in the air to protect you from falling off the bed on those occasional moments when you wake up with this compulsive summersault, throwing yourself to the edge of the bed. Mummy should get 'teen taalees' for ensuring you have so far never bumped your head or fallen off the bed despite your best wriggly twisty efforts of rolling from one place to another.
Coming back to the point, I know papa has been religously looking after the dates (as in 17th Feb, 17th March, 17th April) so I might as well just get on with the updates.
We are now the proud owner of one fully grown tooth and one tooth very much on its way. The challenge though for mummy has been to distract you from the pain and discomfort the teething process has been causing. It does get on to mummy's nerves though. Its difficult to see your baby crying so much and you can't do much to help except for this blessing called 'Dologel'. The only way you sleep now a days is after I apply this God sent ointment. All the Calcalrea phos and Denton tablets haven't done their job.
We are now sitting more confidnetly, for a much longer duration. We pivot our body more effortlessly on our belly and manouver our body in all directions. Our gait is a cross between a caterpillar creeping and a frog hopping. We still move in reverse gear. Mummy is waiting for that special day when baby will start moving forward. We do get into the crawling position i.e. on all fours but we freeze right there. What is special however is, that we can do what many other children can't - the floor bit of surya namaskaar. Both the asans - bhujang as well as the one with both palms and soles of feet pressed in the ground. Mummy's friends gave her reassurance by saying that some children start walking straigh away. From the looks of it, you seem to be preapring to start walking. You love to stand - and can stand all the time. You need support at the moment so you hold mummy's thumbs on both hands and stand quite comfortably. Talking about yoga, you are quite a yoga lover coz' at your age you are mostly seen doing some asana of Pilate, lying on your back, you love to do sarvaang aasan, you are always attempting chakra asan and the likes.
Your sleep patterns haven't improved one bit, you are very much a nocturnal bird and sleep a total of 6 - 7 hours through 24 hours.
And with that comes your cry for attention. Mummy must go to attend. I shall leave the update at that for the moment. WIll come back with more ....
LAter!
